Hello! Today I want to share my impressions of the city of Budapest. In short, Budapest is a “different” city. There are beautiful buildings, historical monuments, entertainment for every taste and just crazy nightlife.
The first thing that surprised me was that Budapest is very….Hungarian…. In no other city in Europe is the spirit of the country felt like in Budapest. But this is my subjective opinion. Why? Probably all because of the language. I didn’t even try to learn it. The only thing I remember is “utca” (street). But, fortunately, 99% (or maybe 100%) of the city’s residents speak English perfectly. But of course this is my experience.
As for housing, it is here for every taste! Prices? – That’s the same. If we talk about public transport, but you need to be careful. Again, language. The metro in Budapest is old, very nice. Very responsive employees in the subway – they will help you figure it out and can even guide and show you everything you need. In trams and buses, the classic ticket scheme, in fact.
Alcohol. Hungarian wine is very tasty and, I don’t understand why, cheap. In bars and clubs with alcohol, everything is as usual.
Food. You should definitely try the Hungarian goulash. It is very tasty and satisfying… and not for those who count calories. And so many different restaurants. I liked the Jewish restaurants most of all, which are very numerous here.

Budapest has a very vibrant nightlife, be prepared for this. I just fell in love with their ruin bars. These are the bars, the interior of which is crazy. Something on the border of bars and arthouse. It is also full of different clubs for lovers of everything in the world. In a word, everything is very fun.
Impressions from Budapest are the warmest. I will return there again, because I could not get to the Budapest spas ☹ I got sick. Hungarians are very welcoming and friendly, and most importantly, not arrogant or vulgar. I was pleased to communicate with people in this city. Although Budapest is considered to be one of the cheapest capitals in Europe, the service here is top notch. In my opinion, Budapest is a chic city where time flies by very quickly.
